I have called Optimal each time I have had an appliance issue. I received honest and expert advice. Sometimes it’s to repair and other times it was to replace. I so appreciate the quick call backs and the good communication the day of the appointment.
Just had Optimal Appliance Repair here to fix our dishwasher. They couldn't have been more professional, knowledgeable, or fast. They were able to pick up the part we needed and fixed our dishwasher the same day. Their prices are very reasonable and worth every penny to deal with a trusted professional. Leo and his assistant came the same day to fix my SubZero Refridgerator. They were very efficient in diagnosing and fixing the problem. Leo is professional and friendly. The cost was extremely reasonable.

GREAT service, GREAT communication with me, WOULD USE AGAIN in a minute for appliance repair! I had a problem with a non-draining front loader washing machine. I had called a big, non-local firm to do the work. That non-local firm scheduled me and canceled at the last minute. Leo at Optimal Appliance Repair was the opposite. Gave me a small window when he would show up, and he did. Asked about the issue in advance and had already figured out what the problem might be (so had parts lined up). Carlos his main repairman did a fast, efficient repair. And there were no surprises. BEST service I have had in 4 years in DC. Support this business, you will not regret it.

The Optimal Appliance Repairman came today (March 30, 2023) to repair our Bosch Dryer, which had a knocking sound as it was drying the clothes. He worked quickly, took the back of the machine off, made the repair, and tested the machine by drying two large wet towels. There was No more knocking sound. I smiled as the towels dried without any problem. The repairman was wonderful and I was so pleased to have my dryer repaired and then to see how inexpensive this cost me. We were able to keep our older Amana stacked W/D thanks to Leo & Optimal’s quick and skilled response. With the door gasket on the washer leaking, and the normal replacement requiring removal of both machines, Leo and his assistant were able to replace the door boot working only from the front, which most places say is impossible. Well, it’s not - they did the whole job in about 2 hours and we now have like-new machines again. One other repair company tried to patch the rubber, but the patch failed in just days. Very happy with speed & quality of service- these guys know what they’re doing! I strongly recommend them! Tom
Professional and reasonable price on repair of oven
Called in the afternoon to have our broken Kenmore Dryer repaired and Leo set a time for the next morning. He was on time and repair was done quickly at the price quoted. He also had fun with my husband Greg the Drummer. I will post the photo.

Leo and Carlos fixed my GE washing machine that was not draining. They can the next day, ordered the pump and replaced it within a few days. The price was fair and provided other services at no charge. They provided "above and beyond" services and is a business of their word. I will continue to utilize their services and will recommend them. Great to see a company that is passionate about their work and providing quality services to their customers! The guys did a great job fixing my dryer.
My washing machine stopped draining and the dryer was making an awful noise. I asked for a quote and they came the next day and fixed both issues in an hour. I will definitely call them the next time i get stuck with an appliance issue. They were lovely humans and I'm so pleased.
Great job fixing my freezer
We just had our gas dryer repaired by Leo and Carlos of Optimal Appliance Repair. They did a great job. I used their online form to request an appointment and within hours someone contacted us. They came the next morning, diagnosed the problem, and told us what it would cost, including parts ($255). They had the part in their warehouse and came the next morning to fix it. They also vacuumed out the entire dryer (door gasket, motor, surroundings) as part of their service. The dryer now hums! I was so impressed with the whole experience with them that I wanted to post this comment. Thank you Leo and Carlos!
